The Push Pull 5K is a hybrid athletic challenge that combines strength training (barbell bench press and the barbell deadlift) with endurance running (5K). It's designed to test every system in your body and help you discover what you're truly capable of.

This event will take place at Warhorse Barbell Club in Northern Liberties. Just a few minutes from City Hall.

Experienced powerlifters can skip ahead - this section is for first-time competitors.
The bench press and deadlift portions will adhere to official USAPL competition standards. All warm-ups must take place in the designated area. Each participant gets three attempts, and you should plan to make your third attempt your heaviest lift.

We use weight classes for two main reasons: they help us organize the lifting order and allow us to calculate your final score accurately.
If you don't make the weight class you registered for, don't worry - it's not a major issue. We'll adjust weight class assignments on competition day as needed to accommodate actual weigh-in results.
